I have created many batch files which launch an isql database search. I have them listed on a webpage with a link to each batch file. In Internet Explorer, I just click on the link and it executes. In Firefox, when I click on the link, it opens the batch file for viewing instead of executing it.

In Firefox, no. However,

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, there are no extensions listed that will execute a .bat file.
