In Windows 10, I moved Documents to E:\Bob\Documents using the move tab in properties for Documents. Firefox started new Pocket. I would like to recover the original Pocket.

I did know that Pocket was separate from Firefox, so I did not have a backup of the Pocket data file. I is not created in Documents. I can recreate it from History. Thank you for the information.

While Pocket is currently a cloud service, there was an older version that could save data locally if you didn't want to save it online. The data might have been in the Documents folder, but I haven't tried to find old help articles to discover the file/folder name(s). If you didn't have much in there, it might not be worth looking into further. Your call.

Hi, so what happens when you reverse what you did ?

Possibly you need to replace the new Pocket data file with a copy of the old one (keep a safe copy somewhere). I don't use Pocket myself, so I'm not familiar with the file name, but assuming it is in a new Documents folder at the old location, it might be easy to spot. ??

With 100 GB of data in Documents, I did not want move the data back. With copy/move not verifying the transfer, I use Teracopy to move the data from C:\User\Bob\Documents to E:\Bob\Documents. I then deleted the data from C:\User\Bob\Document and used the Move tab in Properties to change the system to default to the new location. Thank for you interest. I need to learn more about Pockets, since it is a separate web site and not part of Foirefox.

I logged into Pocket web site and you can save a HTML backup file of the new Pocket. This what I did.

Since I never had logged into Pocket, when I moved Documents Pocket lost the link. I searched the Registry and found nothing.

I have been having web sites not recognize my computer since the change. Therein is the problem with Pocket, Pocket thinks this a different machine and started a new pocket.
