Hi redbankcharlie, Thunderbird uses your Account Settings to connect directly to Xfinity. There is no intermediary connection through Mozilla.

Are you aware of any changes in how Xfinity requires mail programs to connect?

Could you compare setting between Thunderbird and your Android mail client to see whether there are any obvious difference?
