message filter works for only 1 of 3 email accounts

I have created message filters for my main email account and all works ok

When i try to create a filter for second account I can't see how to change the "run selected filter on" value to the name of the second account - only the main account folders are showing All suggestions and help appreciated

The filter window is a bit clumsy. Select any folder of the second account in the Folder Pane, then Tools/Message Filters, create a filter, and then the folders for the 2nd account appear in 'Run selected filter(s) on' drop-down.

I now know that each account has its own set of filters!

Ideally the instructions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/organize-your-messages-using-filters should explain that and how to select the required account

You gave me the confidence to have a go!

The method in the link appears more complex than needed. I clicked "edit" as you suggested and found the toggle at the bottom of page to change the display to document like text. I made my changes there.

Looks good to me. Short minor changes are by far the best to get approved. Technical articles take a lot longer as someone often has to actually review the technical details.
