Can Thunderbird combine inboxes where the messages of the different accounts are in one list sorted by date and time like eM-Client does?

I currently use eM-Client but that does not support adding mail to the sent box by means of an in house developed system. Thunderbird does that, so I am looking into switching. However most users have multiple mail accounts to maintain. Some up to 6. Having to click trough different inboxes even if they are grouped together (Unified boxes) is not a good workable solution. Can Thunderbird combine the inboxes to a single list while maintaining the individual accounts? Is yes, than how do I do that.

Thunderbird supports Unified folders. Go to View > Folders > Unified. Folders common to all accounts will be unified into one view, while allowing browsing through the individual accounts.
