Been searching for the answer for this for some time, with no luck. I am using version 78.5.1.

I'm backing up my Yahoo Mail, with e-mails going back to 2007. But Thunderbird has stopped downloading messages at 2015, nothing newer is being downloaded.

I've checked 'automatically download new messages' and 'leave messages on server' in Server Settings, but to no avail. Under Disk Space I've checked 'don't delete any messages'. The file is only ~750mb so I wouldn't have thought space would be an issue.

Any help at all on this totally appreciated.

Are you using IMAP or POP to get your mail? POP is the only really sensible option for an archive independent of the server account.

Are you talking about mail going back to 2015 having been received or you are still waiting for mail after 2015.

Note that yahoo will have a daily limit on bandwidth you can use, so being patient on these type things is often required. However POP gets mail oldest to newest, so if using pop and your earliest mail of not forthcoming you might need to talk to yahoo.

Thanks for responding.

I'm trying it again with POP. Before, it got to the same message in 2015 and just kept downloading it over and over again, and then stopped. I had messages from 2007 until that 2015 message but nothing more recent.
