Hi, all. I just migrated my Thunderbird profile from a 2012 MacBook Pro running Mojave (10.14.6) to a new iMac running Big Sur (11.4). Both systems use Thunderbird 78.11.0. I followed the steps from the support page, and all of the email and settings seem to have loaded into the iMac.

However, when I try to download new email, the status in the bottom-left corner just hangs on "Connected to <mail server>" without pulling down any mail. A quick look at the account settings shows everything to be the same as it is on the MacBook Pro, which still downloads new mail without issue.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'd be grateful for any direction. Thanks in advance for your time.

For whatever reason, everything spontaneously started working properly on it's own this morning...
