For the first time in over a DECADE I went to Log Onto Tracfone.com to check on the cost of buying a One Year Service Card, which is what I have done at this time of the year for OVER A DECADE!

The following Tracfone Problems are occurring on Firefox BUT Working Just Fine on EDGE (1) My attempt to Log On with what I KNOW is the Correct User ID and Password keeps reporting "Invalid User ID or Password" (2) Attempting to tell Tracfone to send a Password Reset Link FAILS. NOTHING Happened, just a short flash where it is trying to process the request. (3) Attempting to have Tracfone Verify what my Username is FAILS. Again, NOTHING Happened, just a short flash where it is trying to process the request.

As I have stated, I had NO PROBLEM Logging On using EDGE! And had No Problem on EDGE requesting Tracfone to Change my Password and it is this Password Firefox keeps screwing up on the Tracfone Logon Screen because it keeps reporting "Invalid User ID or Password")

PS-This type or problem is ONLY HAPPENING WITH THE TRACFONE WEBSITE!

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or blocked cookies.

  • check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools -> Page Info -> Permissions"

If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder that stores the cookies got corrupted.

  • rename/remove cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and when present delete cookies.sqlite-shm and cookies.sqlite-wal in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed in case cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
