When I try to open many, not all webpages, they don't load but flash very quickly repeatedly. I have used firefox for years and have never seen this before and these are all pages that previously worked fine

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
