I don’t understand the explanation for implementing Thunderbird for iOS, involving IMAP. Please explain it! Tell us what to do—step-by-step. Although only one person asked the question, I think MANY people would like Thunderbird for iPhones and Androids. Thank you very much!

There is no Thunderbird app for iOS or plans to develop one, so what explanation are you talking about?

I'm sure they would however Thunderbird is not a Mozilla product for some time now and those involved with the desktop Thunderbird email client have their hands full enough as is.

Firefox for iOS is basically a shell due to Apple's restrictions on what browser engine and such can be used (which is one of the reasons why there is no extensions like there is for desktop and Android Firefox) so would it really be practical to make and maintain a iOS version in that fashion and add to the workload?
