Redirect block won't switch off

Since a few days ago, whenever I click on a Google Image Search result I get this annoying page: Redirect Notice

The page you were on is trying to send you to https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing/index.html.
If you do not want to visit that page, you can return to the previous page.

I've searched help, and found this page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1327430

And twice gone to about:config, searched for accessibility.blockautorefresh, and switched it to false. And i've restarted my browser, but it hasn't solved the issue.

This is not a Firefox feature, but something that Google is using to warn you when you leave their pages, so blocking auto refresh in Firefox is not causing this. I get the same redirect page if I search for images. I don't know why Firefox doesn't redirect automatically after a short time if you search for images as it works for normal searches.

In my experience, it varies.

Let's say I run an image search in a regular (non-private) window, and click a thumbnail to display the large image and details. Then I:

(A) Click the Visit button (or right-click > Open Link in New tab on the Visit button)

A Google click tracking script intercepts the click and forwards to the destination site automatically.

(B) Right-click the Visit button > Open Link in New Private Window

A Google page gives me the redirect warning.

I think the difference is that if Google detects that you are the person who did the search, you are not forced to click on a warning page, but if Google does not detect that then you get the warning page. I can cause it by deleting the cookies in the Storage Inspector (Shift+F9) before clicking View, so I assume that is why I get the error in the private window but not in the regular one. Of course, Google may be doing other checks as well.
