I've been using Dashlane for a long while. It stopped working, so I deleted it to try to solve the problem. When I tried to re-install it, it won't work. I just keep getting an error about it being corrupted. I've restarted the computer, closed Firefox. It's the same. Dashlane tried to trouble shoot with me, but they have not solved it either. It worked on Google Chrome, but I cannot get it to work on Firefox. Firefox is my browser! I need help to get Dashlane installed and working on it.

Hi jjanderson403, Is Dashlane the only problem? Please see this thread -

ALL extensions appear to be corrupt. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1381931

Hmmm. I only use Dashlane extension, but I tried to install a random extension and it gave the same message. I just made a request for help from eset, as that is my security program as well. Interesting that it isn't a problem with other browsers, just Firefox.

Thanks for including your System Details, not very many people do. That's how I figured you were having the same ESET issue that half a dozen other users have had. I hope ESET can help with a much simpler solution and maybe send out a hotfix for all users.

I've been in touch with ESET about this. They replied... Thank you for contacting ESET North America Technical Support.

In order to continue troubleshooting we need to verify that your issue is being caused by your ESET program or ESET program settings. To accomplish this, we need you to uninstall your ESET product and attempt to reproduce your issue. If the issue persists with ESET uninstalled you should reinstall your ESET software. We will be unable to provide further technical support if the source of the issue is not ESET-related.

Tonight I took the time to uninstall ESET from my computer, and presto, I could install the Dashlane extension. I related that to them. I will keep you posted on any progress.

Thank you. I just learned that Firefox Engineers are in contact with ESET to address this issue and are working to resolve it. Your effort is a big help to everyone. Thanks again.

Thankyou for letting me know that this problem is being worked on. The Dashlane extension is not working as it should in Firefox, but it is now installed. I hope it is getting resolved.

Please be sure to update ESET when they provide an update that may resolve this issue.

I believe there must be some improvement with the work done by the engineers. I can now install an extension which I couldn't before. However, Dashlane is not working in Firefox as it should. It's there and I can look up passwords for a site, but it doesn't populate them for me as it should. Do you believe this is still an eset issue? It works fine on other browsers.

Glad to hear that your extensions are working. Earlier today, another user said that they reset their ESET settings to Default and it solved the issue. Maybe an update from ESET ???

Dashlane has its own Support site. I found an Interactive guide to troubleshoot autofill issues. I suggest that you begin there and if there seems to be an issue with Firefox get back with us.

I've done the troubleshooting with autofill issues. I learned a few things, but it didn't solve the problem. It will autofill in Google Chrome, but not Firefox.

Just thought I would advise that I no longer use Firefox because it's too troublesome to not have Dashlane insert my passwords. :( If you know of any solution I would be happy to come back to Firefox. Thanks.
