Visualized with Dark Theme but send messages in Light Theme

I much prefer dark mode. But replying to emails in dark mode is full of bugs (my text is black on a black background).

Can it be setup that we can use a dark mode, but that the compose window is light mode?

Send plain text, that has no formatting so when you send it will display on the receiving device as whatever the theme is set to show in that app..

Sending only plain text doesn't work in most cases, particularly when replying to a message.

Yeah it does. But all the HTML used in the original message is lost.

Ok. Is there a way to do this without only using plain text?

(I'm using light theme because of this issue. If I had to use plain text for everything, I'd stop using Thunderbird.)

Clearly I'm not the only person who likes using a dark theme AND wants to be able to compose email with Thunderbird....
