I hate being forced to restart my firefox following an update that I didn't ask for. It's particularly annoying when I'm on a video-conference and I start a search and I'm forced to come back to the conference, wait for them to accept me again, etc...

At a minimum, an option should be offered to disable the restart (I didn't find any).

Thank

You can consider to use Firefox from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution to have more control on updating.
