As the subject states:

Nightly 64-bit browser keeps closing the "File Edit View History Bookmarks Tools help" menu bar I normally use.

How do I get this browser to stop closing this menu?

I'm used to using this menu bar for anything I need to deal with via Nightly, and every single time I use the F10 key to open it, and browse to another site, Nightly keeps closing it!

I don't know what you developers did to this bar, but kindly restore it's functionality and quit messing with people who use features.

I'm on Windows 10 64-bit Home edition, updated to version 22H2

I have seen no messages or otherwise that would indicate that Nightly has disabled this for some reason.

I therefore require it restored as soon as is possible.

Kind regards.

I'm sure you know how/where you can select what toolbars to show and place a checkmark next to "Menu Bar". You can do this via Toolbars at the bottom of the Customize page and via "View -> Toolbars" and by right-clicking on empty toolbar area.

If you choose to have the menu bar always visible then it should stay visible.

Where can I change the setting in the config to have it always stay visible? This is not what is currently happening.

This is therefore the issue that has to be dealt with, and I require of you that it be fixed, or that you provide an answer as to how I can fix it so it permanently stays on.

Kind regards.

Thank you for the explanation of where to find this! I'm not that familiar with Nightly. Some update must have turned off the Menu Bar, and I have no idea where to turn it on again, unless someone explains it to me!

The Nightly development channel is meant more for Developers and Testers in mind as it can get checkins with updates twice a day. This can lead to issues or incomplete things until fixed, finished or reverted.

If you want to be a Nightly tester then look in the daily threads in http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=23 as the OP lists the bug reports for fixes and such.

If you want more stability then use Beta or Release builds of Firefox.
