I have a Windows Mobile 6.5 POS phone from Verizon. I don't seem to be able to find the proper download for installing Firefox for Mobile. Is or isn't it available?

Mozilla has stopped development of Firefox for Windows Mobile. If you're curious, you can find an old pre-release version here:

Why has development for Windows Mobile stopped? I have read about the problems with Windows Phone 7, but why don't develop Firefox Mobile for Windows Mobile 6.5? Microsoft will still support this OS in future! Windows Mobile 6.5 is not dead and many smartphones out there have this OS running. So many of the users (including me) are waiting for Firefox Mobile. It would be great if development for Windows Mobile 5/6/6.1/6.5 will be continued in future!
