I set the downloads to where it gets removed from list as soon as it is finished downloading. I would like switch it back to default where the finished files stay on the list. When I go to tools, options, I see nothing that comes up for that. Also, How do change the number of downloads able to download at once?

Tools>Options>Privacy>Remember download history

Tools>Options>Privacy>Remember download history This would enable download history. You cannot restrict the number of simultaneous downloads automatically.

Update the Flash plugin to the latest version.

Update the Java plugin to the latest version.


To see all the History and Cookie options, select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"

If you download files from the same server then there is a maximum of persistent connections (6) to one server. It is not polite to increase that maximum because that prevents others from accessing that server and may get you banned.
