I used to have 2 firewalls active (Windows + McAfee), but since the last upgrade of Firefox 3.6.11 this does'nt work anymore. Firefox only accepts the Windows firewall and not the McAfee firewall. How can I make both firewalls working again?

I am using Firefox since 2008 on my laptop with Windows Vista and McAfee Internet Security. Also since that time I have of both Windows and McAfee the firewalls active. However since last week and the last automatic upgrade, Firefox does not work anymore. I get the message 'Cannot make a connection' . Only when I make the Windows firewall active and the McAfee firewall inactive, Firefox works again. What is the reason that Firfox does not support the two firewalls anymore and why is the McAfee firewall no longer supported. I prefer anyway the McAfee firewall.

Configure the McAfee Firewall to allow the updated Firefox executable through that firewall.

BTW, only one Firewall is active at any time. When you install a 2nd Firewall the Windows Firewall is deactivated; when that 2nd Firewall is turned off or removed the Windows Firewall automatically is activated to protect you.
