My computer got infected. I used System Recovery. It put all files in a back up file. Where can I find my Mozilla bookmarks and passwords files?

I have Windows XP. I found the Mozilla file in my back-up file. I can't find my bookmarks or passwords files. When I clicked on the Mozilla icon from the the back-up file, it just installed a new Firefox, so I don't have any of my bookmarks or passwords.

Even if you did not manually back up bookmarks recent versions of Firefox do create some automated backups. Just be careful that you do not overwrite the wrong files, consider exporting manual backups as you work.

Also be sure to update your plugins as soon as possible as System restore have set them back to older versions.

"Application Data" in XP/Win2K and "AppData" in Vista/Windows 7 are hidden folders.
