I have a problem related to CSS programming in Firefox.

If I use an a tag to enclose some text, and I use the style attribute as: style = 'background-color: blue;' When I drag the cursor over this text to highlight it, I find that there is a thin stripe on the top of the text.

-How may I set text background color to avoid this? -Failing that, is there a simple css code fix?

A good place to ask questions and advice about web development is at the mozillaZine Web Development/Standards Evangelism forum.
The helpers at that forum are more knowledgeable about web development issues.
You need to register at the mozillaZine forum site in order to post at that forum.
