Firefox 4 is not working for iGoogle homepages. It fails to load the applicatons. I will be switching back to Chrome until this is resolved.
My iGoogle homepage worked fine in other versions of Firefox and it works fine in IE and Chrome. The homepage that is selected for Firefox 4 is http://www.google.com/ig. If I look under tools and options that shows as the selected homepage. But, when Firefox is activated, it shows in my browser that my homepage is shown as http://www.google.com/ig#t_0. Only about half the applications on the page load.

What's weird is I use IE Tab 2 and it will load correctly there while in FF4.
My home page shows http://www.google.com/ig#t_1 - doesn't load correctly
In IE Tab it shows http://www.google.com/ig#t_0 - loads correctly
What's interesting is that in IE the homepage shows as http://www.google.com/ig, and everything displays properly. In Mozilla it initially shows as http://www.google.com/ig, then the page sort of flashes and it reverts to http://www.google.com/ig#t_0 and about half of the applications do not show (only the headings show)
I restarted with add-ons disabled (help > restart with add-ons disabled...) and it worked fine. I went through my add-ons disabling a few at a time, writing them down and restarting. Once I narrowed it down to a group I went back and turned them on one by one until it worked correctly.
The problem add-on I had was 'avast webrep'. I never installed so I am not sure how long it was running but I do run avast anti-virus and it has been installed since before FF4 came out. This problem just started happening and I have had FF4 since day 1.
Anyways, I hope this helps someone else.
OS is Win7 , Firefox 4.0.1 NO ADD-ONS Igoogle fails to load correctly, javascripts all report 'void', likewise, on eBay, pages format incorrectly. Cleared cookies, everything worked OK, ONCE. Instead of making it 'better' how about making it WORK? If I needed this level of aggravation, I'd use Internet Exploder
Same here. No applications. Safe mode does not fix the problem. I have a mostly blank screen.
I had the same problem here. Everything worked after I disabled Webrep from Avast.
Disabling Webrep took care of the problem.
In my case disabling Webrep did the trick too.
I disabled the Avast WebRep add-on and this has solved the problem for me.
I disabled Surf Shield In Link Scanner of AVG Free 2011 to solve a similar problem.
