I open Firefox and logon to Netflix. If I click on a streaming movie to watch why does it always say that i have to restart Firefox in 32bit mode?

This only happens when i open Firefox from fresh. If i open it and then open my email, facebook, check the weather, the news etc, then maybe decide to open netflic and watch a movie it always tells me that i have to restart Firefox in 32bit mode. Once i do this i have to re open everything. As long as i keep Firefox open Netflix will work just fine. But if for whatever reason Firefox crashes and i have to restart i have to open Netflix, start a movie and restart in 32 bit mode. Is there no setting in Firefox preferences where i can set it to 32 bit as default? I use a MAC OSX 10.6.2. This has ONLY been an issue since i installed Firefox 4.
