Java plugin nonexistant
I noticed just now that I don't have a Java plugin. I've tried reinstalling both Java (I use the SDK so its Java 7 Update 1) and Firefox, and still nothing. When I go to Java in the control panel and click on the Advanced tab and then Default Java for Browsers, Mozilla family is unchecked, but if I check it and apply, it is unchecked when I go to look at it again. Please help!!!

Never mind, I fixed it by downloading the 32-bit version as well as the 64-bit one...whoops... Thanks anyway!

Firefox doesn't use that setting on the Java Control Center. That setting was for the old Mozilla Suite.
Firefox needs to find a link to the Next Generation JP2 plugin (npjp2.dll) via a registry scan.
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\MozillaPlugins
If there isn't a subkey for the Java plugin then you may need to uninstall and reinstall Java by running the Java installer as Administrator via the right-click context menu (Run as Administrator).
