I want FireFox to save UIDs and PWs. Toggled on tools, options, security, but it does not save them.

As stated, I have gone to tools, then options, then security, and checked the box to save passwords (am assuming it will save UIDs also). But Firefox does NOT save them. Even if the website has a checkbox to save it, it still does not work.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history

  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
