After my son checked his email on my computer, how do I get to my email instead of his?

My son used my computer to check his email. Now when I check "Gmail" I get his, not mine. I don't want to view his email at all.

Hi rlangelle,

This is really a Gmail thing and not a Firefox thing. Take a look at this page from the Google help documentation. Just sign out of his account and sign back in with your account.

If his password has been saved to your computer, you can remove it using the Password Manager. I'm sure he will appreciate you deleting his signin credentials for security reasons.

Hopefully this helps!

This is not a Firefox question, but is a part of the overall browsing experience.

GMail:

In the upper right corner click on "Sign Out". After logged out of his account click on "Sign in" then double click in the userid then click on your own user id in the choices and enter your password.

You may need to remove the Gmail (Google) cookies.

I guess Cor-el is referring to when you are not logged in and Google asks for your password but does not let you change the userid. Don't think it applies here as the problem here because was already marked as solved, but in such cases look for the choice "sign in as a different user" then you can choose the user you want to log in as after double-clicking in the the userid to see choices.
