Firefox 14.0.1 automatically reset itself after running the Troubleshooter. Now all of my add-ons, saved passwords, bookmarks....everything is gone.

I ran the Troubleshooter and when it was finished Firefox 14.0.1 automatically reset itself to its default state. I didn't click the Reset button. Now all of my add-ons are gone, my saved passwords are gone, my bookmarks are gone and all of my settings have changed. I can't even get my tabs to move to the bottom of the page above my Task Bar like they were before FF reset itself. The reason I ran the Troubleshooter was because FF was so slow and would freeze up and I would have to use CTRL/ALT/DEL to close it and restart it. I absolutely DID NOT want it to reset to its default state. Any suggestions? Or am I basically screwed?

The following doesn't add much to the above, but I'll leave it here anyway.

When you say you ran the Troubleshooter, I'm not sure exactly what you did. Did you use the Safe Mode dialog? Some checkboxes on that dialog do clear settings as noted by their description.

If you do the following, can you find any additional Firefox settings folders (AKA profile folders):

Help > Troubleshooting Information > Show Folder

In the Windows Explorer window, navigate up one level. If you see multiple folders, your settings might be safely stored in a different folder.
