Firefox version 19.0.2. Mac OS X version 10.8.3. Google menu (Gmail, Youtube, Calenders, etc.) suddenly stopped appearing while I'm logged into my Gmail account. Have deleted browsing history and cookies, and have deleted and reinstalled Firefox; nothing restores this menu. This menu appears on other browsers (e.g., Chrome and Safari). After several hours trying to follow instructions from other users with this problem, I have been unsuccessful.

Are you sure that you are on the Google website and not on the about:home page?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
