So, I was minding my own business online when suddenly firefox updated on its own.

Normally I wouldn't mind this, especially if the changes made I didn't notice. When it messes with the area at the top of my browser, it pisses me off.

See, I've always hated tabs. Call me old fashioned, but it's just how I am. I like my info in separated browser WINDOWS! Not tabs. I like my browser as clean and simple as possible. The less junk to take up needless space, the better.

I just want it back to what I preferred. (Besides, this kind of crap is the reason why I stopped using IE to begin with. Not the main reason, but definately a contributing factor.)

In Firefox 23, as part of an effort to simplify the Firefox options set and facilitate future improvements to Firefox, the option to hide the tab bar was removed.

Fortunately, this can easily be resolved if you desire the keep tabs hidden. You can install "Hide tab bar with one tab", an extension hosted on Mozilla's add-ons site, which will restore the ability to hide the tab bar.

Fortunately, this can easily be resolved if you desire the keep tabs hidden. You can install "Hide tab bar with one tab", an extension hosted on Mozilla's add-ons site, which will restore the ability to hide the tab bar.
