I cannot log onto Hotmail. A blank white screen appears.

I have tried resetting Firefox, but this has not helped. I also cleared the cookies cache.

Thanks

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

Hi cor-el

Thanks for your help. Tried your recommendation, also did not help. I restarted in safe mode, with add-ons disabled and this appears to have worked... so far.

Your troubleshooting information didn't show that you have extensions installed otherwise I would have included Safe Mode as a suggestion.

So which extensions did you have or did you post this with another computer?

Addons are shown in the images.

That are plugins and plugins aren't affected by starting Firefox in Safe Mode.

The only extension loaded is the Troubleshooter 1.1a.
