My SENT emails are disappearing!

The subject line is basically it. Several of my sent emails have literally disappeared. I thought I was losing my mind, but nope, they are just no where to be found. I run a business from home and have been with TB for a couple of months. Been enjoying it until now. How/why is it doing this? But more importantly, WHERE are those sent emails and how can I get them back??? (These emails are between my customers and me, and I rely on the paper trail to do business.) THANKS!

For clarity. Were they delivered and just not in the sent folder or .... well you tell me.

Yes, I can verify that the email DID get delivered, but it did NOT go to my SEND box or any other box. This has happened twice for absolutely sure, because both times, the recipients (2 different people - 2 different days) forwarded my sent email back to me per my request. Have you ever heard of this gliche in TB before?
