Does Mozilla Firefox work with included security updates for the browser (i.e. when you update version number, the security is updated), or are the security updates divided installed from Firefox?

Each new version that is released has some security updates.
The minor updates are chemspills usually for either stability and or security fixes that could not wait for next Major version Release.
