I had updated Java to correct no videos playing, but now no videos play again and no further updates of Java are available. Videos play in other browsers but not in FF. There should be a simple solution to this problem. I have Win10 installed. I tried updating graphics driver, and all other drivers I could update. The same with it in or out of protected mode. Not sure whether new Flash is actually installed as it disappears after installation and isn't recorded in files or programs. Sick of this problem, sick of reading long involved solutions, ready to switch to another browser. Get with it FF.

Java and JavaScript are different languages. To avoid confusion, see:

A website either uses a plugin based player (Shockwave Flash plugin) or an HTML5 media player that doesn't require a plugin. If you do not see a Lego block icon at the left end of the location/address bar then the HTML5 media player is used. The System Delete list next to the question shows that the Shockwave Flash plugin is installed.

If you use extensions (3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can interfere with loading content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions do not interfere with loading content. There is security software that can interfere with loading content, so check that as well.
