How can an invalid Email identity be removed. It only appears in the list of identities Email addresses in the reply from list in reply Emails.
When I reply to an Email, The address which is populated in the From field is an invalid Email address for an old identity. It is currently marked as the default and always comes up and has to be manually changed to the correct Email address which does appear in the identities list. This only occurs for the Reply from address not in a new message.

At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button > Options > Account Settings.
Do you see the 'invalid' account in the left pane?
You can designate any other account as 'Default' in case that helps.
