this is an ad for a feature i will never use i can't unsub bc i'm not even 'in the system' i profoundly dont care about firefox ads; im already using firefox i can't seem to stop them in any way is there a way to opt-out? or should i switch browsers again

Hi, these are emails or within the browser ?

If email, think this maybe the one https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/announce Note : you do not need to make account to just use Firefox.
