Dear Programmers!

I'd like to report a BUG about following problem:

In Thunderbird (v60.7.0 and before too) using IMAP >> - Even, if the program is set to download ALL messages and KEEP them on your hard-drive forever: - If you open a mail including some pictures attached, it starts to download them again and again and again. :( - If you re-open it in a 2th tab >> it starts to re-download them AGAIN ! - If you have your "message window [F8] " open > and move to an other email, than back >> it starts to re-download them AGAIN !

Story: Last time I was forced to bring my laptop to my client to an opening restaurant. (Building still under construcion >> No internet available there. ) I needed to search a previous email quickly. Shared my mobile internet on my phone as hotspot. As my laptop woke from sleep mode > Thunderbird was already open. The last message I've received from someone had 8 x 5MB .jpg files attached. (I opened that mail previously, but wanned to keep that mail for a while.) So Thunderbird tried to re-download those again taking ALL the bandwidth.

>> the program FROZE completely for 20 minutes .

Tried to move the cursor to an other mail, but than >> it RESTARTED to download all those pictures. Tried to force-close from task manager >> and restarted to try to close the "view message" panel ... and so on...

Needed 2+ hours to finish that "1 minute quick" job at late night. (I can not express how "happy" I was about that...)

Szia!
