How do I globally remove the two dashes inserted when using custom signature? When I create a custom signature, whether with a file or in the account settings, there are two dashes "--" on a line by themselves before the signature begins. I don't want these two dashes or at least, I don't want the new line (<pre><br></pre>) after them. I want the signature to start with something like "-- Myfirstname" and then some other data on following lines. These two characters result in something like: -- <br> -- Myfirstname <hr> etc. I am aware that this is a follow-on to a question a few months ago. ("'Compose page has a couple embedded characters")
