Remove unwanted URL from recommended/autocomplete address list
I am unable to find a way to remove a single unwanted URL from the suggestions list on Firefox for Android. If the website I want to go to (and that I go to regularly) is called abcxyz, and I went to website abcdef once, Firefox will always try to autocomplete the URL to abcdef even though I do not want to go there again. I have found instructions for how to accomplish this on PC, but they can't be followed on a mobile device. I have tried deleting the cookies, etc. for the unwanted website and removing it from my history, but without completely clearing out all browsing data for all websites (which I do not want to do), I haven't been able to figure out how to remove a single unwanted URL.

Hi
If you search in your browsing history, do you see that site?

I already tried deleting it from my history (as well as clearing the browsing data/cookies for that site specifically) but it still shows up as a suggestion. If I searched for it in my history before clearing out the data I could, it showed up twice in the history search results. Now it only shows up once.
So far the *only* way I've found to get rid of these unwanted suggestions is by completely clearing all history, etc. which is a less than ideal "solution"...
There may still be an entry in your history that you will need to clear. Failing that you can clear the full history or turn off the history option in the search settings.
