Restoring bookmarks and Add-ins to new computer
I changed computers. I installed Firefox. I followed these directions:
Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles
I copy the contents of the profile folder from the old computer to the new profile folder on the new computer. I opened Firefox and my bookmarks and Add-Ins were not restored. I manually imported my bookmarks from a backup and got them restored. How do I restore my Add-ins and all their settings and configuration files?
Why did that profile files restoration restore my bookmarks and Add-Ins?
Thanks to anybody who can help me.

Firefox uses two locations in the hidden "AppData" location for the Firefox profile folder. One location in "AppData\Roaming" for personal data like bookmarks and logins and another location in "AppData\Local" for temporary files like the disk cache, so make sure to look in the correct location.
Primary location used for the main profile that keeps your personal data (Root Directory on about:profiles).
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>
I previously copied over the profile contents in Roaming. Now I also copied from Local. It did not restore my Add-ins or my Firefox settings. Do I have to install the Add-ins manually and change the Firefox settings manually? If you, what purpose does copied the profile files do?
