I'M RUNNING 4.0.1 AND WHEN I TURNED ON MY LAPTOP AND OPEN FF THE FORMAT WAS IN THE STYLE OF 3.6 NOT MY 4.0.1 ANY IDEA WHAT HAPPENED IT WORKED FINE YESTERDAY

Right click a blank part of the Tab Bar and click the top option called "Menu Bar".
To reinstate "Tabs on top" if they've moved too, repeat and then click "Tabs on top".
