Hi, Setup Sync on your desktop firefox from the Tools > Sync menu item, then go to your Firefox > Preferences > Sync menu and click Add a Device. Three entry fields appear. On your Android, load Firefox, swipe left and tap the Gear button in the bottom right to access Preferences. In the Sync section, tap Connect to get the code. Type the code from your Android into the fields on your desktop Sync dialog and click Continue. -Michelle

I don't know if this will help or not, but "sync" doesn't work from one device to another - the sync server sits in the middle. All syncs up and down are to and from the sync server, unlike other software that might actually do a "sync" directly from one device to another, say via a USB cable for like with a PDA of years past syncing data with a desktop PC.

That said, I have seen "fresh" sync of data going to a new device take 30 to 45 minutes to complete (looking at bookmarks and doing a "count" via a bookmarklet on the incoming data) and also seen it happen in just a few minutes. And that is very little data, less than 1 MB shows as my "quota".

Hi, Yes, disconnect and then connect again and use the new code to add your device to your desktop Firefox Sync account. -Michelle
