Adding a site to the top sites overview does not work by dragging bookmarks to the new tab page. The dragging does not work at all. How to resolve this?? I try, but either nothing is added or the bookmarked page opens as usual.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Try to remove the Firefox plist file (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).
