Firefox ripple lags when scrolling
Firefox v22 running on windows 7. When casual browsing I get annoying ripples when i scroll up or down then when I stop scrolling it takes a millisecond to adjust... I've read others are having the same problem though couldn't find any answers. It's something you'd expect to see if you were using Firefox through a VNC installed on a machine with a 56k running on the other side of the world >_<

Hello TAJNOST, any luck if you Turn off hardware acceleration ?
thank you
You can also try to disable smooth scrolling.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General: Browsing: "Use smooth scrolling"
Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
- You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.
Thank you.
OMG this seems to have fixed it!, thank-you. So does this mean my gpu is on it's way out or FF just needs a little more polishing?

I've tried everything on this page and I still have the ripple. Since I have a Dell laptop (Studio 17), I started with Dell, which told me a needed a new video card. However, when I tried to download a video card from Dell's support page, it said that I have all the downloads I need.
Windows Update also said that I have all the updates I need.
I'm glad to hear that it's tied in some way to version 22 and not to the innards of my computer.
I'll try turning off the addons, one at a time, and see if that helps.

The ripple effect seems to have stopped. All I've done is put in a new battery, but I don't see how that could affect the ripple effect.
