when i try to go back using the back arrow some sites have multiple entries you have to hit back 3=5 times to get off the page. I have auto redirect off.

HI almanor, Thank you for your question. I understand that you have multiple entries of the same page in your history. Please try one of those pages in Safe Mode Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

Please post back with your results, it can help other users.

Tried safe mode and still multiple history entries. It is usually the same few sites but it is not every time. Seems random. Auto redirect is off as well as popups blocked. Not a true problem more of an annoyance.

Can you mention some of the sites where you notice this? I think a couple of other posters reported news sites where, when you scroll down through a long page of articles, each article gets added to the back button (you can see the titles when you right-click the back button) as you get to it. I can't recall the sites involved.

A script in the page is doing this, but I don't know why it would show up only in Firefox and not in other browsers.
