How to uninstall Firefox App that crashes Asus everytime it runs

more options

For the last versions of Firefox on Android, Firefox crashes my Asus TF300T app everytime it is run. Either being run through clicking on a link (as it was set as the default browser), or if I manually run the app. The app also crashes my tablet when I try to uinstall it. This is the only app on my tablet that does this and I now run Chrome with no problem. As of right now, I have no way of removing the Firefox App without reimaging my Android. Is there another way to remove this app?

Could you try this support article from Google on removing an app: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2521768

Actually, you're probably already using that method.

Does it help to forcibly shut down Firefox and delete its data (through Manage Applications) first? This will clear any bookmarks in the app, but I suspect that isn't a problem at this point.

If you are unable to remove Firefox for some reason, you can at least change your default browser. Scroll down in Apps/Firefox and in the Launch by Default section tap the Clear defaults button. The next time you tap a hyperlink, Android should prompt you to choose an application.
