Until recently could access hotmail account via firefox but now get amessage saying snt148.mail.live.com has invalid security certificates ?? have also tried to access using IE and the same message appears.

A friend of mine has tried to access their hotmail account on my computer and connects successfully. but this connection uses a different url to the one noted above.

Please help to fix or provide a workaround thanks

I'm not seeing the section to add an exception an.d that would suggest that this message in displayed in a frame.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

I used your link, an accessed my own account. So the link itself is okay.

BTW, to access my e-mails, I use the Windows Live Mail program.
