I have tried refreshing my browser, uninstalling my add-ons, making sure all plugins are reinstalled and updated, refreshed firefox (as in the browser, not just refreshing the page lol), disabled hardware acceleration, but nothing works and my problem only happens in firefox.

This started when I upgraded to windows 10 almost a week ago and there's something weird about the problem. It only crashes my browser if i am viewing the video on the youtube site itself. I can watch a youtube video just fine when it is embedded on any other site. this is super annoying and i'd like to stay on firefox instead of migrating all my stuff over to another browser. any ideas??

hello, could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...
