How do I stop my archived mail from being deleted?
I just tried to get an important e-mail out of the archive, and I discovered that there are no archived messages more than 30 days old. How do I stop the archived mail from being delete?

Is this an IMAP account? if so, in your Account Settings, under the Synchronisation and Storage option, do you have 'delete messages more than 30 days old' ticked?

In Thunderbird there is an Archive function where you manually move messages to an archive folder under Local Folders. Is this what you are asking about or are you just referring to OLD mail in your inbox?
