How can I rid myself of the attached link every time we access the internet. AVG no help. Link is suggesting in 5 minutes my hard drive will be crashed due to a recent Zeus Virus. Please assist or make a suggestion...First time using Mozilla this has happened in years.

Note that Akamai is a well known CDN server network and used by a lot of websites to store files.

Can you attach a screenshot to show what this is about?

  • use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
  • make sure you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB

Not close to being a geek with all the acronyms used about this. Can you suggest what can be done to delete the http://asrvvv-a.akamaihd.net/ Are you suggesting to add ad/malware software to my laptop ? Ive tried looking in control panel to uninstall a rogue download...but nothing I can recognize as being foreign to control panels normalties. I can take a photo of page next time it happens or even a video with s7 cell camera if that helps someone understand what I may be able to do.

Bad programs hide themselves. Sometimes as good programs. Normal anti-virus can't detect mal/ad-ware.
