Hi sagekim. Sorry about the experience you had while trying to register/ask a question. The forum is set up to where you ask a question first then you register an account during the ask a question process. Once you click the activation link in your e-mail inbox, your question will be posted and you will be registered. <blockquote> Wish I'd found a place to register sooner! </blockquote> There is currently a bug open to put a registration option on the front page but I am unsure of its status. About the "referred by" option, I'm not too sure there even is such a referred by box in our registration form. Just a e-mail address and password/password confirmation. Perhaps you were on a subdomain of mozilla.org and not support.mozilla.org?
