how to install version 52.1 esr
I downoaded it and unzipped it but it does not have an install icon.
Do I need the 32 or 64 bit version for windows 10?
I had it installed before, then it got replaced with version 53.
My problem is this. Version 53 does not work with a product I use "Mydlink" which requires a plug in. Version 52.1 esr and 53 both have a problem in combination of ABP and Compuserve's netscape If ABP blocks all then I start having problems with navigating through netscape's formatting of page. I need to allow compuserve's ads to make it behave normally.
It will help me to get 52.1 esr back. What is the eaiest way to download it?
However, if you know of a version that would make all of these products work together then I would use it. If you can help me I would appreciate ir. Thanks George

Hi
You can download Firefox ESR from this site. The file that you download for your operating system and language is the one that you will have to run to install the latest Firefox ESR.

You have 64-bit Windows 10 so you can use wither 32-bit or 64-bit Firefox 52 ESR.
The version you had was likely the separate Firefox 52 Release as a version on ESR channel would not update to a Release version like 53.0
Note the Win64 Firefox only allows the 64-bit Flash Player and Silverlight Plugins to run. So if you need other Plugins to run in Firefox on Windows you need the 32-bit Firefox 52 ESR.
https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/all/ First row is 32-bit for Windows and second row is 64-bit for Windows.
You can look at this extension to see if that works better: uBlock Origin: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/
Thanks for the information about the capabilities of the various versions..
